[Founder / Creative Director]

Lecturer, filmmaker, former senior PR manager, basketball player, and art addict.

Gabor is GAVART’s Founder and Creative Director.

He graduated in Art History (BA), European Studies & International Relations (BA), and Visual & Cultural Anthropology (MA) from Babes-Bolyai University.

In his early years, he worked as a publishing manager at Sapientia University and contributed to the issue of more than 100 books. He was promoted to senior PR manager at the Rector’s Office with the responsibility of shaping and promoting the university's image and reputation. With an excellent team of faculty marketing specialists and talented students, they produced the most viral Eastern European academic ads at that time. After some years of intensive work, he felt the need to step out and establish with Vali Turean the company today called Gavart Productions.

Since 2019 he has been teaching at the Cinematography and Media Department (Babeș-Bolyai Univ.) as a guest lecturer. Driven by continuous improvement (and by nostalgia for student life) in 2021 he enrolled at the Doctoral School of Theatre and Film (UBB)
